artist date workshop

A year of social distancing, Zoom meetups, cooking at home, and shopping online knocked the wind out of my sails. It’s time to start planning for adventure!

According to author Julia Cameron, Artist Dates are “assigned play” as a weekly, solo excursion. Whether an “artist” or not, the practice of Artist Dates can help you:

– refuel

– learn more about yourself

– stretch out of your comfort zone

– add color to everyday life

– be more creative

– play

Whether a momma of littles or a soon-to-be empty nester, working full- or part-time, single/married, young/old – if you find yourself REGULARLY putting the needs of others before your own, reserves will run dry. Artist Dates help fill the well.

Plan your first Artist Date of 2022 by taking part in a fun crafting workshop at my house on Friday, January 7 at 7:00 pm. The cost for the workshop is $35 (due by 12/27) and includes everything you need to create an Artist Date notebook of your own. In it you can plan and track your own solo adventures! Attendees will receive a one-of-a-kind kits that include a traveler’s notebook, ruled page inserts, embellishments, stickers, and adhesive. Snacks & beverages provided as well. After the workshop, join our private FB group for Artist Date ideas, tips, and encouragement along the way.

Space is limited so if you would like to reserve a spot, click on the “Contact” button at the bottom of this page and fill out the information on the form. If you have any questions, let me know!
