The last year and a half has been challenging even for this “glass half-full” girl. I stumbled upon The Whatever Craft House while looking for inspiration last spring. It looked like the perfect backdrop for a joy-filled hosted weekend and just like that, the 2022 Crafty Road Trip was born.
Relax, Refresh & Rejoice is the theme for this one-time retreat. We will spend 5-days/4-nights in pursuit of all three at this colorful oasis as we sip sweet tea on the porch, work on personal craft projects, find sunny spots to savor our time away, and explore a variety of mixed media techniques.
The Whatever Craft House is located in Newton, Kansas which is how this weekend getaway earned it’s “Crafty Road Trip” name. While transportation is not included, I will help coordinate a caravan for those interested in driving down as a group. Alternatively, roundtrip flights from Minneapolis to Wichita run anywhere from $200-300.
The 2022 Crafty Road Trip would make for a memorable mother/adult daughter getaway, sister weekend, or a much-needed escape for one. Check-in is on Wednesday, August 17 at 6:30 pm. Check out is on Sunday, August 21 at 10:00 am. The cost for the weekend is $225 and includes meals.
There are a total of 16 spots with a limited number remaining. A $50 deposit is required to reserve a spot with the remaining balance due May 1, 2022 (refunds are issued if I am able to fill the spot upon cancellation).
