It wasn’t all that long ago when this bride (along with a handful of other neighbor kids) could be seen plotting their next move from our front porch. She brightened our little “circle” in Rosemount with her smile and blessed everyone with her block party planning skills.
Well, she went off and got married a couple of weeks ago. (Technically, she was married at the church in our backyard AND their reception took place about a mile down the road so it was about as close to home as one could be. Oh… and did I mention I happened to be THE PHOTOGRAPHER?!)
Conor is a very special man – perfect for this very special woman. I’ve heard he plays piano beautifully and the two of them dance like you would not believe.
I’m usually able to keep my emotions at check while working, but it was simply impossible this time. There were so many touching moments – the expression on her dad’s face after walking her down the aisle, watching the wedding party reconnect and congratulate the newlyweds after the ceremony, mom hugs, the itty bitty ring bearer, the speeches, watching everyone dance – even the parents had some pretty spectacular moves!
Enough of my rambling, here’s a peek at some more of my favorites from this lovely day.
Thanks again for allowing me the honor of being there as your photographer.
